A retrospective view from the Developer

Hey Goss_IPers,

It's been a long time since I've written anything Goss_IP related, but my current project is keeping me too busy. As you might already know, I'm working on a more polished VN called TableTop PornStar (Soon to be changed in TableTop BornStar for... reasons) and a comparison between these two projects is expected.

Goss_IP is my first attempt in many fields. First time coding, first time digital drawing, first time publishing, first time writing a project completely in English... Also, before Goss_IP, I didn't know programs and sites like this (Itch.io), or Krita, or Audacity, or Patreon and SubscribeStar. In short, I was a pure noob!

This is a message mainly for newcomers, who haven't played it yet. Be patient. You are about to play a crude, raw game. Sometimes it might look bad (especially the first chapters), or grindy (Only 2 chapters, both called Decameron), or having a low sex factor or none to basic animations. But, based on other people's reviews, I think the big plus of Goss_IP (and mainly the reason I started it) was the story. At first, you mind find it silly and a little boring but believe me it gets better

Heck, I'm getting better. As the chapters go by, you'll see why this game has many fans that want to see the next volumes. It's funny, sexy and adventurous! It's original (You won't find anything like it) and miraculously for a first project, it's bug-free.

In conclusion, before you play, expect to be disappointed at first only to be amazed in the last chapters.

Stay safe.

Hey Basilicata,

I think you're selling yourself a bit short. For a first game, this is very impressive, and it doesn't look nearly as bad as you say. :-)

That being said, I remember you talking about making an 'enhanced edition' one day, once you're done with TableTop. Is that still the plan? And what's your rough estimate of when that could happen? This year, next year, in five years? I'm not trying to rush you, I'm just curious. Because you see, I haven't actually finished the game yet. Took a break a while ago. Now I'm wondering whether to go back to it soon, or wait for that more polished version. (Although, once again, from what I've seen, it doesn't really need that much polish anyway.)

Thank you. My original plan was to deal with TableTop for now and when that one's over ,I believe in two years from now, start the polished Goss_IP and immediately afterwards, continue with Ghost Stories.

Thanks for the quick reply! Okay, two years, that gives me an idea.
